The simulations through immersion in virtual reality engage the staff being trained, by recreating reality to optimize the acquisition of new skills. The educators are professionals in VR that provide individual feedback and recommendations to the staff that are trained.


The virtual reality aggression management program simulates real situations in a hospital room where the health professional is facing a verbally and gesturally aggressive patient.
During these events, the virtual contexts are evolving and offer interactivity. Different scenarios have been made to create a training environment that corresponds to real situations.

The objectives in this training are to work on professional posture, sharing of good practice and to optimize the management of emotions and stress in potential aggressive situations.

The training is conducted by experts in this field, who passes on knowledge of relation and communications techniques.


The manifestation and sensation of pain are subject to significant interindividual differences making its assessment complex. 

The objective of the educational program for pain management in virtual reality is to acquire assessment and management processes. 

The simulation immerses the subject in interactive situations with a virtual patient experiencing pain. Different scenarios are integrated to recreate different situations.. 

This educational program also offers prescription verification. All immersive roleplays are coupled with debriefings from the educator. The program complies with good practice recommendations and up-to-date SFETD-protocols.

Who are the training for?

The different trainings offered by C2Care are mainly intended for healthcare professionals that have frequent contact with patients. The purpose of the trainings are to prepare these professionals to situations that can be problematic, so they better are prepared to deal with them. The aggression management courses has the double purpose of both protecting caregivers from negative physical and mental consequences, but also to provide them with knowledge on how to avoid potentially dangerous situations. 

Pain management courses helps the relation of caregiver and patient, and create a better environment between them. This helps optimizing the workplace, and create a better atmosphere in general.  

How long does each course last?

One full workday is usually dedicated for the training.

Why use Virtual Reality in these trainings?

Virtual reality is fun and immersive in training.The training program has been developed to answer the need for a theoretical but above all pragmatic educational approach.

VR gives a great opportunity to tailor different scenarios compared to current methods.  Role playing during face-to-face training sometimes suffers from a lack of commitment to the task due to its nature. Virtual reality allows students to immerse themselves in realistic scenarios. They benefit from the technological qualities of virtual reality, the opportunity to be immersed in a synthetic environment offering an emotional activation similar to that which can be experienced in the professional field. Immersion thus plays a key role in the teaching.

How does the training take place?

The trainings are led by a trainer with significant experience in terms of clinic experience and pedagogy. The process follows a logic aimed at maximizing the educational potential of training and process automation. Theoretical content will be provided followed by scenarios. The latter have the function of applying theoretical knowledge. In addition, the trainer will provide learners with constructive feedback and allow him an ecological assessment of the postures to be deconstructed or, conversely, reinforced.

The training is done in a group, in a dynamic of exchanges and sharing.

Are there a minimum number of years of compulsory experience to be able to benefit from these training courses?

No, no diploma or minimum of years of practice is required to participate in these training courses. All people and teams wishing to strengthen their field of expertise are welcome.

What do we deliver at the end of the training?

When the training is completed and, after the trainer’s assessment, a training certificate is issued to justify the acquisition of the skills learned.
